About Project ‘Solrisas’

Solrisas is a nonprofit foundation dedicated to providing free dental treatment and education to children in Juanillo, Suero and Veron in the Dominican Republic. Our mission is to improve their oral health and overall well-being.

We are raising awareness for our foundation and are seeking funding and donations to finance our plans. Getting support is essential for us to fulfill our mission and help the children from the Dominican Republic.

What we want to offer

Many kids in the Dominican Republic have little or no access to dental care.
This not only leads to unwanted dental outcomes, but can also contribute to future concerns, such as oral cancer, dementia and heart disease.

We see our program as being vitally important in protecting the overall well-being of these kids and enhancing their quality of life.

Here is how we want to do this:

Free treatment & consultations

All clinical treatment will be performed by licensed dentists, pro bono

Free transportation to & from the clinic

Easy accessibility to and from the appointments for kids and parents

Free Education & training

Kids and parents will be trained on oral hygiene techniques and receive nutritional counseling
